about:
The Beatles Ring is a webring. The creation of any webring is generally to join together a large number of related sites. As the title suggests, The Beatles Ring's goal is to link sites throughout the web dedicated to The Beatles. Qualified sites include anything about The Beatles as a band, any of the four members by themselves, or anything Beatles related.
Currently, The Beatles Ring is the internet's largest Beatles website organization.
The Beatles Ring was the first and original Beatles webring created. It was started in
mid-October, 1996 by Brock Reese. It now boasts over 500 members.
The Beatles Ring is great for both Beatles fans surfing the internet, and also webmasters of Beatles sites. The ring is a great tool
to easily find hundreds of sites about The Beatles (it's the world's largest Beatles website organization), and webmasters increase hits
to their sites by sharing traffic with other webmasters. It's a great system!
*** Update 10-28-00
Yahoo! bought out Webring.org and screwed everything up! After a long debate, I've decided to move the ring over to the CrickRock Webring System, and
it's doing great! Unfortunatley, all members that signed up for the ring before October 28, 2000 need to re-apply and get a new ID and the new code.
*** Update 12-07-03
We moved servers for the first time in our long history! Members had to update their html fragments to reflect the change. We own the domain bboss.net,
so we'll never have to move again.
